Nick Knight is one of the most influential photographers worldwide, and the founder of showstudio.com, an Internet initiative about arts. He won lots of awards in recognition to its works for Vogue, Dazed & Confused, W magazine, i-D and Visionaire, as well as fashion and advertising works for brands like Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Levi Strauss, Yohji Yamamoto and Yves Saint Laurent.
As a fashion photographer, Nick Knight defied the conventional rules about beauty. Its first photography book, skinheads, was published on 1982. Since then he have also produced Nicknight, a 12 year retrospective, and Flora, a series of flower photographies. He have also designed music covers for Massive Attack, Suede and the video “Pagan Poetry” from Björk. He have worked also on the Pirelli calendar for 2004.
